Princess Ballet Camp

This week has been really fun, it's been a mother of girls dream :) Lilly started Princess Ballet Camp on Monday. It was pure bliss watching her dance around in her costumes and learn basic ballet and tap moves. I didn't even mind Lilly waking up in the middle of the night all week because she was hungry :) Because she would sing some of the songs she was learning at dance to me. Here are some pictures from the Grand Princess Ball today.

Lilly and Cinderella Lilly and Sleeping Beauty Lilly and Jasmine(Lilly's first day of Dance)

Lilly received a certificate at the end of the princess ball and before they where handed out the director of the ballet studio shared a sweet story of a little girl who had wandered into where the princesses were dressing and exclaimed with pure delight, "You really are real Princesses!" The director told me after the Ball that the little girl was Lilly :) and that Lilly is adorable :) She had a wonderful time and so did I. I am excited to enroll Lilly into a real ballet class this fall. I think she will continue to enjoy it.

I shed a little tear on Lilly's first day of dance. The director suggested that I enroll her in the 3-4 year old camp because she hasn't had any other formal training. Well, on that first day Lilly was the tallest in the class and I thought to myself how I can't slow time down and Lilly really isn't so tiny anymore. I cherish my sweet girls lives and am so glad to be a mother of two cute 'tiny' girls.

Love it! Isn't the princess camp so great?!! And, you picked a great studio. I teach for the same studio she's going to, just in a different location. I wish I could have Lilly in my class!!
