Horray it's Spring!

I am so HAPPY that the nice sunny spring weather has decided to come. It's so wonderful outside and our new swingset is getting lots of use.We also have been eating outside for lunch at Lilly's picnic table that Mike built her last year. I wish I knew more people in our area and I would invite them over to come play. So if you live by me and want to come play with Lilly and I during the day, please come on by, or give me a call. I've found it a little hard to make friends, I'm a little shy (at first) but I promise once you get to know me you will learn that I'm pretty funny in all my randomness :) But really, Mike is the funny one in the family. I just egg him on :)
I'm a little bummed about our front yard. Last year we re-planted it, but it just grew a full out dandilion patch, it looks so trashy! Hopefully when Mike is done with finals (on Wednesday) we can work on it and make it look presentable. My four day weekend is this weekend too, so we can pop out our green thumbs and work a little magic. Our backyard is gorgeous, and I would like the front to reflect a little bit of our awesome gardening skills. At least our rhodi's are blooming! They remind me of our front yard in WA, but a miniture version. We planted two rhodi plants last fall and they made it through the winter. We wanted to add a little Pacific Northwest flair to our yard. When I first moved to WA I had never seen Rhododendrons the moment I saw them, I fell in love! I am so glad that they survived and are thriving, kind of like how I feel Mike & I are with our move to the West. We survived and are thriving :)
