We gathered all of Lilly's binky's this morning and got them ready to take with us to the store. We decided to replace Lilly's binky with a new CD player so she can listen to music while she trys to get to sleep. I am going to miss the binky, it has helped comfort Lilly for over two years now. But Lilly is a big girl now and she 'bought' her very own radio today at the store. The cashier was AWESOME, I ran ahead of Mike and Lilly and explained the situation and she played along beautifully. She even put the binky's in her cash register and made sure Lilly saw her do it. She was like "Oh my gosh she is so cute, I think I am going to cry!" (I felt the same way). So far the only tears shed for the loss of the binky have been by me (and the cashier).Wednesday, September 10, 2008
Bye Bye Binky!

That was so smart of you, Amanda! I hope she did ok her first night without the binky - Levi was a NIGHTMARE for about 3 days after I took his away - and like Lilly, he only had it for naps/bedtime! But MAN is it good when its gone! :)
I hope Lilly doesnt get ticked and then see that cashier in the store later - she will be demanding her binkies back!! ;)
